About Aurora

Aurora is developing the Aurora Driver, a self-driving technology platform aimed at making transportation safer, more efficient, and more accessible.

What you would do

  • Tackle end-to-end perception challenges including tracking and semantic understanding
  • Research and develop state-of-the-art deep learning models for perception
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to iterate on the Perception system
  • Drive software development from prototype to production
  • Contribute to architectural strategy and team collaboration
  • Design and implement object tracking algorithms

Must have

  • Master's degree or higher in CS, Robotics, EE, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant industry experience
  • Proficient software engineering skills in C++ and Python
  • Working knowledge in one or more ML focus areas
  • Experience with PyTorch, Tensorflow, or other deep learning frameworks

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying production-grade CV/ML models in real-time environments
  • Strong grasp of linear algebra, optimization, and ML methods
  • Hands-on experience with VLM, foundational, or world models
  • Experience with CUDA or high-performance GPU programming
  • Publication record at top-tier robotics/computer vision venues
  • Experience automating ML workflows and optimizing training pipelines
  • Contributions to open source projects
  • Proven ability to thrive in collaborative engineering environments
