What you would do
- Lead projects to mature detection infrastructure and log pipelines
- Expand detection coverage across cloud and corporate environments
- Design and tune detections for cloud, identity, and SaaS threats
- Partner with engineering teams to embed logging requirements
- Integrate threat intelligence and adversary emulation into detection
- Conduct proactive threat hunting across cloud and endpoint data
Must have
- 10+ years of security experience
- Experience leading cross-functional security projects
- Strong technical foundation in threat detection and incident response
- Expertise in cloud security across major providers
- Experience building or maturing SIEM or data lake pipelines
- Expertise in EDR and SaaS security monitoring
- Experience authoring and maintaining detections
- Experience with incident management and cross-departmental collaboration
- Expertise with MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST CSF
- Ability to write quality, testable Python code
Nice to have
- Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust Architecture
- Experience scaling SOC or Detection Engineering with AI/LLM
- Experience building and architecting data lakes
- Experience with compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001
