About Aurora

Aurora is developing self-driving technology to improve safety, efficiency, and accessibility in mobility and logistics, with a focus on autonomous trucking operations.

What you would do

  • Design and implement enterprise security controls across endpoint, identity, network, and data domains
  • Configure, tune, and maintain security platforms like EDR, IAM, DLP, PKI, and email security
  • Write automation and tooling in Python and Go to reduce manual work
  • Support device hardening and endpoint security baselines across macOS, Linux, and Windows
  • Contribute to network security projects including segmentation, DNS security, VPN/Tailscale, and 802.1x
  • Assist with vulnerability management including triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking

Must have

  • 7+ years of hands-on enterprise or corporate security engineering experience
  • Working proficiency in Python and Go for automation or tooling
  • Hands-on experience with multiple security domains including EDR, IAM, DLP, email security, vulnerability management, network security, or PKI
  • OS security experience across Linux and macOS at minimum, with some Windows exposure
  • Ability to take a scoped project from requirements to shipped with light guidance
  • Exposure to SIEM and detection pipelines including log queries and basic detection logic

Nice to have

  • Experience with Tailscale, 802.1x, or similar zero-trust network access tooling
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault or another secrets/PKI platform
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and security such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with LLM-based AI tools including agentic workflows and MCP
  • NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, or CIS Benchmarks familiarity
  • Industry standard security certifications such as Security+ or CISSP
