What you would do

  • Research and develop deep learning models for perception under challenging conditions
  • Address object detection, tracking, action recognition, and semantic understanding
  • Guide software from prototype to production on real-time AV platform
  • Collaborate to diagnose and resolve failure modes in testing
  • Build and scale robust ML pipelines for experimentation and training

Must have

  • BS, MS, or PhD in CS, Robotics, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of research or professional experience with C++ and Python
  • Strong grasp of linear algebra, optimization, and ML methods
  • Strong publication record or significant industry experience in relevant fields

Nice to have

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Advanced production-level knowledge of C++
  • Experience applying computer vision and ML to robotics problems
  • Experience deploying CV/ML models at scale across large fleets
  • Proven ability in cross-team collaboration environments
  • Experience with 3D data, object detection, tracking, or point clouds
