What you would do
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Develop data infrastructure using AWS and Terraform
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams on data needs
- Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging for data systems
- Champion data governance, quality, and security best practices
Must have
- Master's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++
- Experience with big data frameworks like Spark or Flink
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure data services
- Strong SQL and relational/NoSQL database knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of data transformation tools like DBT
- Experience building pipelines with Apache Airflow
- Systematic approach to open-ended data problems
- Effective in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
- Communicate technical solutions to varied audiences
Nice to have
- Experience with AI toolings, LLM, and agentic frameworks
- Experience with Snowflake or data lake architectures
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools
- Passion for building elegant, scalable systems
- Experience using Amazon Web Services tools
