About Aurora
Aurora develops self-driving technology to improve safety, efficiency, and accessibility in mobility and logistics.
What you would do
- Own platforms at the architectural level, understanding purpose, use cases, and integrations.
- Set technical strategy and roadmap for the domain.
- Engineer away toil by categorizing and eliminating recurring requests through automation.
- Write production software in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript with version control and code review.
- Design and automate identity and lifecycle workflows using APIs, webhooks, SCIM, and IAM tooling.
- Lead platform lifecycle end-to-end, including piloting, rolling out, governing, and deprecating tools.
Must have
- 6+ years in software, systems, or platform engineering with enterprise SaaS automation.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Track record of eliminating manual work at scale, not just completing tasks.
- Deep hands-on experience integrating SaaS via APIs, webhooks, and identity automation.
- Proven ability to take architectural ownership of an unfamiliar platform quickly.
- Systems thinking across application ecosystem, understanding data and identity flows.
- Proven ability to partner across teams and with senior leadership.
Nice to have
- Hands-on depth in Google Workspace, Slack, FireHydrant, OpsGenie, or Workato.
- Experience building LLM-powered or agentic automation for internal workflows.
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP).
- Experience with SaaS license management, usage analytics, and cost governance.
- Experience building reusable automation frameworks and self-service tooling.
