What you would do
- Assist in building, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets including financial and alternative data.
- Support design and evaluation of statistical and machine learning models for forecasting and risk analysis.
- Work with researchers to implement algorithms in Python and related tools.
- Contribute to AI/ML projects in time series forecasting, optimization, and conversational AI.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and predictive signals.
- Document findings and present results to team members clearly.
Must have
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in a technical discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Solid foundation in probability, statistics, and linear algebra.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Basic software engineering practices.
- Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
