What you would do
- Build and maintain integrations with game engines and APIs
- Develop engine plugins for Unreal and Unity
- Extract game-specific data to power features like auto clipping
- Reverse-engineer how games expose or hide needed data
- Work with game APIs and log files for data capture
- Ensure end-to-end quality of complex features
Must have
- 5+ years of C# experience in performance-critical contexts
- Good understanding of the Windows OS
- Demonstrable evidence of playing or tinkering with games
- Willing to work in-person in NYC 5 days a week
- Ownership and attention to detail for end-to-end quality
- Excellent understanding of code performance in production
- Confident with profiling tools
- Result-driven and metrics-focused approach
- Comfort with A/B testing and usage metrics
- Passion for games and gaming communities
- User of Discord and other gaming-adjacent products
Nice to have
- C/C++ experience in performance-critical contexts
- Graphics API experience, especially DX11, DX12 and Vulkan
- Reverse engineering and hooking/injection experience
