The role

This role is for a Product Designer to join a small product team at General Intuition, building on the Medal gaming clip platform. The designer will own parts of the product end-to-end, from core user flows to the design system, working closely with engineers. The position requires in-person work in NYC, five days a week.

What you would do

  • Own consumer-facing product experiences end-to-end
  • Design core user flows for daily player use
  • Build and maintain the design system
  • Iterate and ship designs closely with engineers
  • Design polished, accessible experiences for desktop and mobile
  • Shape experiences for millions of gamers

Must have

  • 4+ years designing consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience with social or creator-driven platforms
  • Strong product judgment and prioritization skills
  • Holistic product sense for core loops and user engagement
  • Preference for iterative shipping over large launches
  • Hands-on design systems building and scaling experience
  • Deep Figma skills including components, variables, and auto layout
  • Experience collaborating with engineers on design implementation
  • Experience designing for both desktop and mobile
  • Understanding of platform-specific UX patterns and accessibility
  • Willingness to work in NYC five days a week
  • Passion for games and gaming communities

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for communities, content creation, or real-time interaction products
  • Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Twitch, or TikTok

Experience and education

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
