What you would do
- Architect and build highly scalable, low-latency backend systems

Must have
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Hands-on experience building scalable microservices
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design
- Deep understanding of distributed systems
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL including performance tuning
- Experience with schema design
- Experience building systems handling thousands of requests per second
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS preferred)
- Comfort with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- Strong grasp of system design and architectural patterns
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers
- Experience with caching systems
- SRE/DevOps or DevSecOps experience
