What you would do
- Educate members on using their membership benefits
- Collaborate with paired PCPs to manage patient panel
- Anticipate provider needs for patient care
- Coordinate with external service providers like labs and specialists
- Perform vitals, lab tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, and IVs
- Assist providers with in-office procedures
Must have
- Minimum 2 years Medical Assistant experience
- Experience working in a clinic setting
- Experience providing care to all ages including pediatrics
- Proficient in EKGs, phlebotomy, IVs, and injections
- Pass an onsite skills assessment
- Extensive experience with EHR/EMR systems
- Active BLS certification or ability to obtain
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Adaptable to changes in process and technology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with healthcare providers
- Use personal cell phone for communication
