What you would do
- Perform all functions requiring professional judgment in pharmacy operations
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Review and interpret prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Conduct prospective drug utilization reviews including interactions and contraindications
- Verify work performed by pharmacy technicians including filled orders and inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Must have
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Licensed, registered Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
- 6 months experience practicing pharmacy
- Ability to perform necessary pharmacy math
- Read, comprehend and implement company policies and procedures
- Ethical conduct
Nice to have
- Mail order pharmacy experience
- Ability to learn and perform operations within pharmacy management software systems
- Fast learner with detail oriented mindset
- Dedication to punctuality and low absenteeism
