What you would do
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate MD/DO providers across clinical verticals
- Establish and monitor physician performance metrics like documentation quality and outcomes
- Partner with Clinical NP Manager to drive clinical performance accountability
- Conduct or oversee periodic chart audits and peer review
- Serve as collaborating physician for NPs where state law requires
- Maintain compliant collaborative practice agreements in applicable states
Must have
- MD or DO with active unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in relevant specialty like Family or Internal Medicine
- 8+ years clinical practice experience including telehealth
- Experience supervising or collaborating with NPs or PAs
- Familiarity with telehealth care delivery models
- Knowledge of multi-state regulatory and licensing considerations
- Demonstrated experience developing clinical protocols or guidelines
Nice to have
- Prior Medical Director or clinical leadership role at telehealth company
- Experience across multiple clinical verticals like primary care or mental health
- Familiarity with EHR or telehealth platforms and quality metrics
- Experience navigating state-by-state NP scope-of-practice variation
- Multi-state licensure or willingness to obtain additional licenses
