What you would do
- Provide independent obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
- Manage labor including admissions, assessments, and delivery.
- Evaluate and manage routine pregnancies, consulting on high-risk cases.
- Conduct well-woman exams, family planning, and STD/HIV care.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on patients and reassessments per policy.
- Monitor mother and fetus during labor, manage complications, and deliver.
Must have
- Master's or DNP degree in nursing with midwifery specialty
- Montana or compact state nurse licensure
- Idaho or compact state nurse licensure
- Certification by American Midwifery Certification Board
- DEA and state prescriptive authority
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, Intermediate EFM, and PALS within 3 months
- Minimum two years experience as Certified Nurse Midwife
- 120-200 deliveries in CNM role
- Pass N-95 respiratory testing or wear PAPR annually
- Meet clinical competency standards for Labor and Delivery
- Basic computer knowledge and English communication skills
