What you would do
- Develop and own core system components and services ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Design and streamline document ingestion processes and provide them at scale to QA and Agents.
- Implement engineering best practices across the product, backend, and ML stack.
- Take ambiguous business problems and build extensible systems for fast adaptation to user needs.
- Scale the custom-built Question Answer system for reliable performance and rapid improvements.
- Reduce latency to deliver near-instant user experiences within a restricted budget.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the tech industry.
- Proactive and eager to take ownership of projects.
- Ability to iterate quickly based on user engagement.
Nice to have
- Experience in backend or distributed systems.
- Experience in data, indexing, or search systems at scale.
- Expertise in best practices for building for scale and performance.
- Excited about growing as a mentor to the engineering team.
