What you would do
- Lead design and development of integrations platform including APIs and data pipelines
- Drive architecture and implementation of scalable, secure integration systems
- Establish best practices for API design, data modeling, and interoperability
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and external stakeholders
- Align execution across US and India-based engineering teams
- Own performance, monitoring, and reliability of integration systems
Must have
- 6+ years full-stack or backend-leaning engineering experience
- Strong experience building APIs, integration systems, or distributed backend services
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers
- Experience building and scaling integration platforms or data pipelines in production
- Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
- Strong product mindset focused on practical, reliable solutions
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with third-party integrations like healthcare systems or EHRs
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
- Interest in healthcare or experience with regulated data like HIPAA or PHI
- Familiarity with AI/ML systems and their integration into product workflows
- Interest in mentoring and growing into broader leadership roles
