What you would do

  • Lead design and development of integrations platform including APIs and data pipelines
  • Drive architecture and implementation of scalable, secure integration systems
  • Establish best practices for API design, data modeling, and interoperability
  • Collaborate with product, design, operations, and external stakeholders
  • Align execution across US and India-based engineering teams
  • Own performance, monitoring, and reliability of integration systems

Must have

  • 6+ years full-stack or backend-leaning engineering experience
  • Strong experience building APIs, integration systems, or distributed backend services
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers
  • Experience building and scaling integration platforms or data pipelines in production
  • Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
  • Strong product mindset focused on practical, reliable solutions
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with third-party integrations like healthcare systems or EHRs
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Interest in healthcare or experience with regulated data like HIPAA or PHI
  • Familiarity with AI/ML systems and their integration into product workflows
  • Interest in mentoring and growing into broader leadership roles
