What you would do
- Define and evolve the roadmap for Digital Asset's contributions to Splice.
- Make hard trade-offs explicit using structured analysis and first-principles reasoning.
- Align interests of diverse stakeholders into a coherent product direction.
- Guide development across a distributed open-source contributor base.
- Produce clear written artifacts explaining complex technical and economic issues.
- Identify and address long-horizon risks in distributed systems and protocol economics.
Must have
- 10+ years of product management experience with complex platforms.
- Ownership of strategy for long-lived platforms.
- Depth in distributed systems, Web3, or financial infrastructure.
- Knowledge of BFT consensus, incentive mechanisms, and transaction lifecycles.
- Effectiveness in open-source or multi-stakeholder environments with limited authority.
- Experience partnering with senior engineers on foundational system design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Formal background in computer science or software engineering.
- Direct experience with Daml, Canton, or comparable protocol-level systems.
- Experience designing or evaluating incentive mechanisms or governance models.
