What it is trying to claim: That you provided ongoing help to a person, team, or system.
Why it underperforms
It splits two very different meanings and the reader cannot tell which you mean. Supporting a system is operational work with uptime and tickets behind it. Supporting a manager is assistance. The first is a substantial claim and the second is modest, so the ambiguity drags the strong reading down toward the weak one.
