What you would do
- Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists and other providers with four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Ask about patient medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
- Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
- Clean and sterilize all instruments used
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Credentials to function as a dental assistant per state requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant at hire in Washington
- Sealant certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel to other locations within a reasonable range
Nice to have
- Graduation from an ADA accredited dental assisting program
- EFDA certification
