What you would do
- Prepare and maintain instruments and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists with four-handed dentistry within state scope
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Record patient medical history, blood pressure, and pulse
- Take dental impressions for study casts
- Clean and sterilize instruments per OSHA/WISHA regulations
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- State credentials to function as a dental assistant
- Oregon certification for Dental Radiology Proficiency
- Oregon EFDA certification within 180 days of hire
- Sealant certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Nice to have
- Graduation from an ADA accredited dental assisting program
- EFDA certification
