The role

What you would do
- Perform echocardiograms, stress/dobutamine echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Apply electrodes and transducers for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Complete at least 10 studies with proper documentation per eight-hour shift
- Assist in training other technicians as directed by supervisor
- Recognize abnormal structures and correlate with clinical history in reports
- Consult with ordering or reading providers and contribute professional knowledge
Must have
- Up to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination
- BLS certification
- Registered as Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI
- Proficient in echocardiograms, cardiac doppler, TEE, stress echo, contrast imaging
- Able to perform echocardiograms without supervision
- Competency in cardiovascular echocardiography
