What you would do
- Verify patient orders and history before exams
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce images
- Position patients and ensure safety during procedures
- Manage and monitor imaging equipment
- Organize and send images to PACS
- Administer contrast injections and monitor reactions
Must have
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography
- ARRT certification in CT or obtain within 12 months
- Current Texas Medical Board MRT licensure
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols
- Proficient in operating CT scanners and X-ray equipment
- Working knowledge of RIS and PACS systems
- Ability to perform IV contrast injections
- Strong attention to detail for diagnostic images
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to lift and position patients up to 50 lbs
Nice to have
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- 1-2 years of experience as CT Technologist
- Experience in hospital or acute care setting
- New graduates with clinical CT training considered
