What you would do

  • Verify patient orders and history before exams
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce images
  • Position patients and ensure safety during procedures
  • Manage and monitor imaging equipment
  • Organize and send images to PACS
  • Administer contrast injections and monitor reactions

Must have

  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography
  • ARRT certification in CT or obtain within 12 months
  • Current Texas Medical Board MRT licensure
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols
  • Proficient in operating CT scanners and X-ray equipment
  • Working knowledge of RIS and PACS systems
  • Ability to perform IV contrast injections
  • Strong attention to detail for diagnostic images
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and position patients up to 50 lbs

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience as CT Technologist
  • Experience in hospital or acute care setting
  • New graduates with clinical CT training considered
