What you would do
- Conduct physical therapy assessments in facility and occasionally at home
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop care plans
- Deliver and document interventions per participant care plans
- Provide exercise, gait training, ADL functional training, and treatments
- Supervise and train Therapy Assistants for Functional Maintenance Programs
- Train staff, participants, and caregivers on therapeutic equipment use
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
- Valid New Jersey Physical Therapy License or proof of eligibility
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification thereafter
Nice to have
- Master's or doctoral degree in physical therapy
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
- Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience
