What you would do
- Administer treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist in obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing
- Coordinate with rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs
- Handle scheduling of participant treatments, clinical visits, and billing
- Document occupational therapy interventions per established care plans
- Promote muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function
Must have
- Occupational Therapy Assistant associate's degree from accredited program
- Valid California OTA license or proof of license eligibility
- Knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs
Nice to have
- Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience
