What you would do
- Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ranges of motion, and strength testing
- Coordinate with the Rehabilitation team to implement activities and programs based on individual treatment plans
- Handle scheduling of participants' treatments, clinical visits, and billing
- Document occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established care plans
- Promote muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, and endurance
Must have
- Occupational Therapy Assistant associate's degree from an accredited program
- Valid California OTA license or proof of license eligibility
- OTA knowledge to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs
Nice to have
- Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience
