What you would do
- Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Assist with instrumental daily activities like laundry, housekeeping, and meal prep
- Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed
- Act as a medical escort to appointments, ensuring safe transfers
- Carry out home exercise programs as indicated in care plans
- Provide translation services as needed
Must have
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or First Aid certification
- Registered with Home Care Registry (HCA) prior to start
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
Nice to have
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Bilingual in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
- 1+ years of caregiving experience with elderly or senior patients
