The role
WelbeHealth is hiring a Personal Care Assistant to provide hands-on personal care services to senior participants at their day center. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, escorting participants, and supporting the care team. The position reports to the Day Center Manager and is part of an interdisciplinary team.

What you would do
- Assist participants with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Measure and record participants' vital signs as directed
- Escort participants to and from medical appointments and transportation
- Monitor day center activities to ensure participant safety
- Help serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence and grooming items
Must have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience providing personal care to seniors
- Willing and able to drive to participant escort assignments
- Obtain CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
Nice to have
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in California
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
