The role
This role involves providing hands-on personal care assistance to seniors at a WelbeHealth day center, including help with daily activities, vital sign monitoring, and meal service. The caregiver will also act as a medical escort and ensure participant safety, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The position reports to the Day Center Manager.

What you would do
- Assist participants with daily living activities like bathing and dressing
- Measure and document participant vital signs as instructed
- Escort participants on and off transportation vehicles
- Oversee day center floor to ensure participant safety
- Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
- Maintain personal care supplies like incontinence and grooming items
Must have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience providing personal care to seniors
- Willing and able to safely drive to escort assignment locations
- Obtain CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
Nice to have
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in California
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
