What you would do
- Assist participants with daily living activities like bathing and dressing
- Measure and record participants' vital signs as directed
- Escort participants to and from medical appointments
- Oversee day center activities to ensure participant safety
- Help serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain personal care supplies like incontinence and grooming items
Must have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willing and able to drive to participant escort locations
- Minimum one year experience providing personal care to seniors
- CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire
- Willing to work in multiple day centers on an on-call basis
- Obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
- Proof of vaccination or vaccine declination form required
Nice to have
- Home Health Aide certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant in California
- CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
