Waterview Hills Campus includes two facilities providing subacute rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, aiming to offer high-quality rehab and nursing care after hospital discharge.
What you would do
- Plan, organize, and implement physical therapy services per regulations
- Develop and evaluate physical therapy programs and goals
- Instruct personnel, residents, and families on therapy policies
- Participate in discharge planning and resident care plans
- Conduct resident assessments including MDS
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per state practice act
Must have
- Current NY Physical Therapist license and registration
- Current malpractice insurance and license in good standing
- Dedication to compassionate care
- Energetic and passionate about quality care
- Interest in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly residents
- Patience and cheerful disposition
- Willingness to assist residents and co-workers
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibly
- Ability to work harmoniously with all staff
