What you would do
- Conduct thorough evaluations including goniometry, manual muscle testing, and functional assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans with physicians.
- Use therapeutic techniques like exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain.
- Educate patients on conditions, treatment goals, and injury prevention strategies.
- Document treatment progress accurately using Epic Hyperspace EMR.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient-centered care.
Must have
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience in orthopedic settings
- Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine
- Experience with athletes or post-surgical patients
- Proficiency with Epic Hyperspace EMR
- Strong manual therapy skills including Graston, Dry Needling, MDT, Mulligan
