What you would do

  • Take full ownership of the job seeker messaging domain and its KPIs.
  • Lead strategy for which messages to send, when, and via which channels.
  • Monitor metrics like applications, activation, retention, and complaint rates.
  • Design and analyze experiments to improve long-term business health.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and marketplace teams.
  • Protect channel health by focusing on deliverability and compliance.

Must have

  • 5+ years of product management experience with proven results.
  • Data-obsessed problem solver comfortable with SQL and A/B testing.
  • Experience owning email, push, or lifecycle messaging products at scale.
  • Understanding of tension between engagement volume and user trust.
  • Experience shipping features powered by ranking or recommendation models.
  • Passion for speaking directly with users and conducting research.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Highly self-motivated and thrives with autonomy.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a two-sided marketplace like jobs or rideshare.
  • Experience building message selection or frequency capping systems.
  • Working knowledge of email deliverability and compliance regimes.
