What you would do
- Build and evolve scalable card issuing, transaction processing, and settlement systems.
- Design reliable integrations with Stripe, banking partners, and internal platforms.
- Own complex technical initiatives from design through production delivery.
- Contribute to architecture of event-driven distributed systems using .NET and C#.
- Build resilient payment systems within regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Improve reliability, observability, and performance of production systems.
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with complex production systems.
- Deep experience with .NET, C#, and Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience with distributed backend systems.
- Experience designing systems using Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience with CQRS and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building payment infrastructure, card issuing, or transaction processing systems.
- Experience with platforms such as Stripe Issuing, Marqeta, or comparable in-house solutions.
- Ability to independently own complex technical initiatives from architecture to production.
- Strong understanding of reliability, observability, automated testing, and system performance.
- Experience with production incident management.
- Experience navigating security, compliance, and operational considerations for financial systems.
