What you would do

  • Coordinate resources and communicate with business leaders and vendors
  • Stay current with product lines and test proof of concept technologies
  • Maintain documentation standards and cross-train other engineers
  • Enforce network and security best practices and policies
  • Maintain consistent builds and standards for robust systems
  • Plan and track expenses related to network operations

Must have

  • Minimum 6 years related enterprise IT experience
  • Experience with Cisco and Arista switches, ISE, and firewalls
  • Experience diagnosing hardware, security, compliance, and application issues
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Technical documentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and act independently
  • Willing to work off-hours, weekends, and travel internationally
  • Willingness to take initiative and additional responsibilities

Nice to have

  • ITIL Foundations v4 certification
  • AS degree or BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Arista ACE, NSE 4, Azure, AWS, ITIL, PMP/Prince2/Agile, Scrum
