The role
This role manages the full lifecycle of data center projects, from design and construction through commissioning and operational handover. It requires close coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and compliance standards. The position is based locally in Ashville, Ohio, with a hybrid onsite structure and some travel.

What you would do
- Lead full project lifecycle from planning to handover
- Develop and monitor master schedules, budgets, and resources
- Establish project governance and executive reporting dashboards
- Identify risks, maintain registers, and implement mitigations
- Ensure contractor compliance with milestones and guarantees
- Support procurement strategy and delivery model evaluation
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering
- Minimum 10 years in data center construction or commissioning
- Proven delivery of large-scale Tier III+ or hyperscale data centers
- Working knowledge of critical data center systems design and operation
- Experience managing EPC or D&B contractors
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, sanitary, plumbing, HVAC, IT, security systems
- Familiarity with Uptime, TIA, NFPA, IEC, ISO standards
- Experience with project management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving under tight deadlines
- Strong decision-making in high-pressure environments
- Local to Ashville, Ohio for hybrid onsite work
Nice to have
- Master's degree in business administration or engineering leadership
- PMP, CDCP, or ATD certification
- Experience with 275kV grid intake and campus-scale developments
