About Echelon Insights
Echelon is building an AI platform for Business Operations that automates knowledge work by combining process mining with a living ontology. It connects data from fragmented enterprise systems to create automated workflows and AI agents.
What you would do
- Design and operate sandbox lifecycle systems for agent execution
- Improve sandbox startup time, density, scheduling, and caching
- Build fast filesystem primitives for ephemeral and persistent state
- Enforce tenant isolation, network policy, and least-privilege access
- Make long-running agent jobs durable via checkpointing and retries
- Scale orchestration and control-plane services for workload bursts
Must have
- 5+ years building production infrastructure or distributed systems
- Hands-on ownership of containerized workloads in multi-tenant environments
- Strong Linux systems knowledge across processes and filesystems
- Experience with Kubernetes or comparable scheduler
- Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud primitives
- Strong programming in Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, or similar
- Experience designing for retries, idempotency, and backpressure
- Security instincts for executing untrusted or model-generated work
Nice to have
- Experience with Firecracker, gVisor, Kata Containers, or eBPF
- Experience with sandbox products like E2B, Modal, or Fly Machines
- Experience with FUSE, overlay filesystems, or content-addressed storage
- Experience with agent runtimes or browser automation
- Experience with BYOC or private networking
- Experience with Inngest, Temporal, Kafka, or NATS
