What you would do

  • Architect and harden the core vehicle operating environment
  • Design zero-touch provisioning frameworks for fleets and developers
  • Develop containerized runtime strategies for heterogeneous hardware
  • Implement software distribution and versioning for safe upgrades
  • Collaborate with DevOps to scale global CI/CD infrastructure
  • Drive software release process and ensure release-candidate integrity

Must have

  • 5+ years running Linux in production
  • Strong Linux system administration including systemd, networking, storage
  • DevOps and CI/CD experience building and owning pipelines
  • Strong scripting in Bash and Python
  • Willing to work hands-on with real hardware
  • Excellent communication and willingness to help others
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience writing modern, maintainable C++ code
  • Comfortable working with in-office and remote people
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mountain View, CA

Nice to have

  • Strong proficiency in large, modern C++ code
  • AWS including IoT/Greengrass, S3, EC2, IAM/SSO, Lambda
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience
  • Shipping OTA updates to IoT devices or autonomous vehicles
  • Deep Ubuntu/Debian experience including package building
  • ROS/ROS2 and C++ literacy
  • CAN bus, firmware updates, wiring, or electrical troubleshooting
  • Yocto or other embedded Linux build systems
