What you would do
- Design, develop, and test clinical prototype with co-founders
- Architect and implement lab automation for experimentation
- Develop internal and external tools for device prototyping
- Build custom user interfaces for testing efforts
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and research teams
- Apply skills across biophysics, image processing, and deep learning
Must have
- MS or BS in computer science or engineering
- 2+ years equivalent work experience
- PhD in related fields also considered
- Proficiency in Python with rapid prototyping experience
- Experience with numpy, scipy, opencv, scikit-image
- Experience with deep learning packages like pytorch
- Familiarity with UI design and architectures
- Familiarity with Qt in Python (PySide or PyQt)
- Knowledge of Python or Matlab for test processing
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and independent
- Strong technical and analytical capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of medical imaging (ultrasound, CT, MRI)
- Experience with ultrasound prototyping hardware
- Experience applying image processing to medical images
- Experience with computer vision or deep learning on medical images
Experience and education
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
