What you would do
- Build and maintain backend services for internal data products
- Collaborate with investing and operations teams to translate requirements into software
- Design and implement new features and systems with guidance
- Ship data products iteratively, incorporating user feedback
- Own assigned services from development through production support
- Write clear, well-structured, and maintainable code
Must have
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python 3 or another backend language
- Experience deploying production services on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with production SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience building and deploying containerized services
- Strong problem-solving skills and solid technical fundamentals
- Low ego, high empathy, and ability to collaborate effectively
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
