What you would do
- Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and materials for dental procedures
- Assist dentists and hygienists with four-handed dentistry within state scope
- Take and develop dental radiographs
- Record patient medical history, blood pressure, and pulse
- Take dental impressions for study casts
- Clean and sterilize instruments following OSHA and company protocols
Must have
- High school diploma or GED
- Credentials to function as a dental assistant per state requirements
- Registered Dental Assistant in Washington at hire
- Sealant certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification
Nice to have
- Graduation from an ADA accredited dental assisting program
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) credential
