What you would do
- Apply the dental hygiene process of care for patient treatment
- Gather patient data for comprehensive oral and systemic assessment
- Perform extra-oral and intra-oral exams and chart findings
- Expose and evaluate diagnostic radiographs following ALARA guidelines
- Document assessment findings in Electronic Dental Records system
- Communicate findings and treatment plan with the doctor
Must have
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current BLS certification
- Current dental hygiene license in good standing
- Local anesthesia endorsement
- Current N2O permit
