The role
Wider Circle is seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed physician for a consulting role in an early-stage care program. The physician will conduct initial virtual visits with members to assess medical needs and set care direction, with ongoing support provided by a care team. This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor position focused on telehealth and population health.

What you would do
- Conduct initial telehealth visits with enrolled members
- Assess medical needs, care gaps, and barriers to care
- Establish a clear clinical plan and care priorities
- Collaborate with care team for smooth handoff and continuity
- Provide clinical insight to refine program workflows during pilot
- Support a patient-centered approach addressing social and medical needs
Must have
- MD or DO degree
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in primary care specialty
- Comfort working with Medicare, Medicaid, or complex populations
- Strong communication skills for virtual setting
- Interest in care coordination and whole-person care models
- Comfort working in startup-like, evolving program environment
