The role
Wider Circle is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) physician for a part-time, 1099 telehealth role in a new pilot program called Wider Care+. The physician will conduct initial intake appointments and group check-ins for older adults and clinically complex patients, working with a care team to establish care plans.

What you would do
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth initial visits for enrolled members
- Synthesize complex medical and social histories to identify priorities
- Create concise clinical plans and handoffs for care team
- Document findings and recommendations in the EMR
- Provide clinical guidance on escalation pathways and workflows
- Build rapid clinical rapport and trust with members and caregivers
Must have
- MD or DO with active unrestricted Arizona license
- Substantial experience with Medicare/Medicaid populations
- Experience with complex chronic disease management
- Skilled at telehealth assessment and building rapport virtually
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort with complexity
- Interest in care coordination
- Comfortable in iterative startup-like pilot environment
Nice to have
- Multiple state licenses
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or related primary care specialty
