This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a Physical Therapist to provide home-based care in the Dallas, TX region. The role involves traveling to patients' homes to perform evaluations, develop care plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and caregivers. The position offers a guaranteed base pay of $1,080 per week, based on a minimum of 6 patient visits per day at $45 per visit.

What you would do

  • Travel to patients' homes in the Dallas area to provide physical therapy.
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in home settings.
  • Assess strength, range of motion, balance, gait, and functional limitations.
  • Evaluate home environments for safety and fall risks.
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on evaluations and physician orders.
  • Establish measurable short-term and long-term functional goals.

Must have

  • Current and valid Texas Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.
  • Ability to independently perform comprehensive PT evaluations.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, and balance training.
  • Excellent patient assessment and pain management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, organized, and professional.
  • Comfortable providing care in patients' homes.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Nice to have

  • Experience treating orthopedic, musculoskeletal, or neurological conditions.
  • Previous home health, mobile therapy, or community-based experience.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to company policy.

What you get

  • Guaranteed base pay of $1,080 per week.
