What you would do

  • Travel to patients' homes to provide physical therapy treatment
  • Review patient's plan of care and treatment goals before visits
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and neuromuscular re-education
  • Provide gait, balance, and functional mobility training
  • Train patients on assistive devices like walkers and canes
  • Reinforce home exercise programs established by the Physical Therapist

Must have

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics
  • Ability to implement a Physical Therapist's established plan of care
  • Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, and balance training
  • Strong observation and patient monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
  • Must be punctual, dependable, organized, and professional
  • Comfortable providing care in patients' homes
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area

Nice to have

  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to company policy
  • Previous home health, mobile therapy, or outpatient experience preferred
