The role

This is a 1099 independent contractor role for a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home-based physical therapy services in the Hemet/Temecula area. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing care plans, educating patients, and documenting visits. The position requires travel to patients' homes and offers a guaranteed base pay of $840 per week.

What you would do

  • Travel to patients' homes to provide physical therapy

Must have

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Graduate of accredited PTA program

  • Ability to implement Physical Therapist's plan of care
  • Strong observation and patient monitoring skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with mobile caseload
  • Punctual, dependable, organized, and professional
  • Comfortable providing care in patients' homes
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned service area

Nice to have

  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Previous home health or mobile therapy experience
  • Outpatient, orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric experience
  • Community-based experience

What you get

  • Guaranteed base pay of $840 per week
  • $35 per patient visit
  • Additional $35 per visit beyond six daily
