What you would do
- Evaluate patient needs through telephone triage
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Document medications given or prescribed by physicians
- Identify and provide patient and family education
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations
- Follow clinical services policies for medical record documentation
Must have
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Active Florida LPN license
- One year LPN experience or training in a healthcare facility
- High school diploma or GED for Medical Assistant track
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program or one year experience
- Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of employment
- Current BLS certification or completion within first 90 days
