The role
This role provides basic medical and nursing care in an internal medicine setting. The specialist will perform telephone triage, administer medications, assist physicians with procedures, and educate patients. The position requires either an LPN license or Medical Assistant certification.

What you would do
- Evaluate patient needs through telephone triage
- Administer medications and injections, documenting as ordered
- Identify and provide patient and family education
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient information following clinical policies
- Facilitate patient flow in the physician's office
Must have
- Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing
- Active Florida LPN license
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
- One year Medical Assistant experience within last two years
- Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire
- Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days
Nice to have
- Experience or training in a healthcare facility as LPN
- Gyn-Oncology experience
