The role
This role provides basic medical and nursing care, including telephone triage, medication administration, and patient education. The position supports physicians with office procedures and coordinates surgical scheduling. It is open to either Licensed Practical Nurses or Medical Assistants with specific qualifications.

What you would do
- Evaluate patient needs via telephone triage
- Administer medications and injections as ordered
- Document medications given or prescribed by physician
- Identify and provide patient and family education
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient information per clinical policies
Must have
- Graduate of accredited school of practical nursing
- Active Florida LPN license
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
- One year Medical Assistant experience within last two years
- Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire
- Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days
Nice to have
- Experience or training in healthcare facility as LPN
- Gyn-Oncology experience
