What you would do

  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Perform routine and specialized CT exams, including various CTA procedures.
  • Administer contrast material and manage IV lines.
  • Follow department protocols for scheduling, contrast use, and allergic reactions.
  • Order supplies and help build CT protocols.
  • Collect and manage LDCT data for a registry.

Must have

  • ARRT certification in CT and RT.
  • 6+ years of CT experience as a staff technologist.
  • Experience performing and post-processing CTA exams.
  • Satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited program.
  • Current Florida Radiation Control (HRS) certification.
  • CPR and BLS certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of physiology and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Basic IV skills.
  • Basic knowledge of post-processing software.
  • Ability to perform all 7 specialized CTA exams routinely.
  • Knowledge of CT department protocols.
  • Ability to work full shifts when needed.
